Tarot Collection Deathby ~eponyart

Artisan Crafts / Dolls, Plushies & Custom Toys

Death (part of the Tarot collection)

Re-rooted by hand with high quality nylon hair
Original eyes and symbol completely removed
Carefully painted custom symbol and eyes using only artist's quality acrylic paints
Swarovski crystals adorn the symbol
Microfine glitter embellishes the paint work

Design significance - The mystic rose represents life. The skull represents the skeleton which rides death and the broken hourglass was added to symbolise life force slipping away. The base body colour of white was selected as this is the colour of the horse ridden by the skeleton. To add to the theme of Death, I selected one of my more 'bait' off white ponies for a more decayed skeletal look.
