Description
This is my second Blythe custom. I have actually been working on her for a
while... she was actually the inspiration for my Marie Antionette My Little
Pony.
Doll was originally a Prima Dolly Violetina
Face has been sand matted and sprayed with Mr Super Clear.
Original hair was removed and Marie has been re-rooted by hand with a mixture of
white nylon hair. Each plug was rooted individually, this is not a sewn on weft.
The hair has been styled into a typical 'Marie Antoinette' style which was the
inspiration for this doll.
Original eye chips were removed and replaced with aqua, blue, purple and cake
eyes as shown in the picture.
Eye make-up, including the eyelids, was carefully hand painted on using artist
quality acrylics. Original eyelashes were also replaced.
Marie has been given sleep eyes. I need to mention that prior to fixing the
scalp on the eye mechanism was smooth and fully working, however somehow since
the aqua chip seems to stick and may need a little manual help to shift to the
next colour. Please note this only happens with the aqua chip and I don't know
why?!?!
Keeping to the Marie Antoinette inspiration, Marie has been given 2 cake pull
charms (let them eat cake!)
Marie has been given a custom made 2-piece outfit comprising of skirt and top.
