After looking through you're whole gallery I can say that what you do with these ponies gives my life a little more meaning, knowing that there is talent like this out there. This is what I aim to be able to do myself one day. I'm watching you're eBay and the next time a custom figure comes for sale I will defiantly be looking at her.
Thank you so very much. I can't believe how amazing this comment is. Needless to say it kept me smiling all the way from December to the new year, I am only sorry it has taken me this long to respond to it.
It can take various time lines to create a pony. It depends on how detailed the pony is and how dedicated I am lol. With something like the Tarot series a lot of time was spent planning the customs so they fitted each theme. Others such as the Floral Fantasy customs were just a spur of the moment inspired design. I am really fussy so I have to have everything exactly right which can sometimes mean re-doing a pony until I like the symbol/pose/colours. I don't rehair using any tools, it is all done by hand, so that takes me a little while longer compared to most customisers (usually 2-3 hours).
Sorry it isn't really a straight answer. With the exception of re-hairing (which I do in a block and hence I can provide a time for that task) it is really hard to time how long a custom takes because I drift in and out of the rest of the customising depending on my free time and mood.
