I think the price is totally reasonable. Remember, I really DO know how much work goes into these things. I have her on watch and am really gauging the depth of my wallet. If I could make three payments on it instead... I'll continue to see what my funds do in the next few days. I've been wanting to own one of your girls for a while.
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me. Your ponies are amazing and I can see how they would take you a while. Sometimes with myself, it is not the painting that takes time... more the concept (although the wings were definately very tricky). To have the chance to have PoniesYeah own one of my creations, you can certainly purchase her and have her on 3 payments. If you did indeed want to purchase her then I can put her aside and you can pay at a later date to save on paypal fees. Alternatively you could just send me all your talent in an envelope and I'll post her right out ^-^
Madam, I will take your offer! Set that B aside and hit me with a total cost. You can even work in the paypal fees. I'll make first payment right then. Don't forget that paypal addy. 3 payment and BANG I gots ma a pewny!
And ya know... I think a commission request is starting to gel. Can I get a general price line? Spankyou in advance.
I just received an e-mail on eBay from a past buyer. She just noticed in the pictures a small dot on the mouth of Honeycomb. I've just grabbed her from her box and noticed she has got a small dot. It looks like a pin prick hole in the plastic. The pony was BNIB when I took her out to customise her so this can only be an original flaw from hasbro. I'm not sure if you still wish to purchase her or not? I'm gonna revise the auction and such. I wish I had seen this before I went ahead and worked so hard on her... damn Hasbro and their slap dash workmanship. I assume you may not want her now, however if you are still interested we can work out a new revised price for her. Let me know.
Sorry I didn't get back right away. I tend to be dead to the world on the weekends. yeah look'it that. It's completely a factory flaw. Ha, maybe you can give her a lip stud! I ran into that problem once too. Mass production just isn't designed for 100% tight quality control. I spend hours in my days going back and fourth with china pointing out painfully obvious sometimes down right idiotic goofs in our samples. Its misleadingly exhausting. Sometimes we simply don't feel like conveying the mistake and taking the steps to explain how to fix it, and we let it go through to the finished product.
I'm still interested in her. The one thing I noticed when looking her over in the auction (And heres where your like: "oh what the hell? What did you possibly see! Stoopid nit-pickers.") The wing on her display side seems to be warped or bent or... something. I was ignoring it till I possibly saw her then I figured i could just futz with and see if I could make it straight. if it was actually bent at all and not just photo trickery.
Hi, Sorry for the delay in contact. I get to grab a few seconds on her but finding time to reply is hard atm. I'm in the middle of moving house and organising a 30th birthday party. So I'm dead to the world every day at the moment, only I'm dead to the world and surrounded by cardboard boxes!
Its so refreshing to hear someone else suffering from the hands of mass made factory flaws and understanding how frustrating this is with reguards to this pony.
The wing is bent in the picture. The wings are semi posable (in that they are posable but I wouldn't recommend heavily moving them about). The wacky bending you see is actually my attempt at artistically positioning them - sorry. This does however mean they can be put straight if required (and I would do so and take a picture, except she is parcelled up ready for the move atm so you'll just have to trust me on that point). So if your still interested note me with an offer ^-^
Thank you very much. I wanted to use muted colours for the paint (the base colour of the pony is lovely to paint on) and striking colours for the hair, kinda inspired by honey (lovely warm homely tones).
